Helmet is a type of armor in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. They use the head armor slot, similar to the Caps of rogues or the Cowls of mages. Designed for use by fighter-style characters, all helmets will have a Might requirement to equip them. They always add a bonus to Melee Block Efficacy and can have a multitude of other enchantments. All helmets provide the following effect:
- +5% Melee Block Efficacy
Note: Helmets are most often referred to as "helms".
Crafting Helmets[]
- Main article: Blacksmithing
The Fateless One can craft helmets at any Blacksmithing Forge by using a metal headdress and rivets; linings and bindings are optional components. With sufficient skill, mastercrafted helmets that offer a boost to experience gained can be crafted.
The Fateless One can also disassemble existing helmets for salvage, recovering some of the above-mentioned components.
