Description
- The Well of Souls is bigger than one gnomes' pet project. My employer pays for information about its progress. I just send the reports to make some money on the side.
Guran is one of the professor's assistants seen wheeling a cart containing the Fateless One's body at the start of the game.
Bear attack
After the initial attack on the tower, Guran can be found just south-east of the tower's exit, being attacked by a bear. Once the bear is slain, you find out that he was tipping off an anonymous source about the Well's progress and you can either; kill him, let him go or persuade him to pay you off.
Choice
If you successfully persuade him to pay you, you will receive 104 gold coins and will be unable to interact with him any further. I am unsure if spending a point in hidden objects affects this payout. If you decide to kill him you will receive 207 experience points, but no loot.
