  • Song of Sir Sagrell
  • Gorguath is a location in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Gorguath is a fae hollow in eastern Odarath. It is the lair of the Grave Thresh defeated by Sir Sagrell in his most famous adventure. The hollow has some sort of symbiotic relationship with the thresh. It somehow feeds on the thresh's victims, and protects it with magical growths to keep out intruders.

The entrance to the center of the hollow is blocked by vines until the player pulls the three heart vines. There are two secret doors, which can be found with Detect Hidden at level 5.

Several things of note lie within this cave:

The following items found here can be looted:

    • Chest x 10
    • Corpse x 3
    • Pile of Rocks (hidden treasure) x 2
    • Skeleton x 2
    • Whirlpool x 2

The following reagents can be harvested here:

The following lorestones are found here:

    • Gorguath Stone x 5

    Gorguath Lorestones

Journeying through Gorguath is associated with the House of Ballads (Faction) storyline. Simply walking in the front door will not allow the player access to most of the dungeon.

One of the lorestones is behind the northernmost hidden door in this dungeon. Detect Hidden 5 is required to reveal hidden doors, and thus to find this lorestone. If a player has not invested/trained 5 points in Detect Hidden, they can achieve it via other methods, such as the higher Jack of All Trades destinies, potions, or armor items.
