Background[]

The Forsaken Plain is the most prominent scar left by a long-forgotten war. The region's fields and hills were forever marked by the powerful magic unleashed in that ancient conflict, leaving vast stretches where nothing grows. It has become the home of the refugees of the Crystal War and Alfar army deserters, as none but the desperate would settle here.

Description[]

The Forsaken Plain is divided into a western region and an eastern region, connected by a path in in the south, with the Frostbreak Sea to the north. The western plain borders on the Cradle of Summer and Emaire in the north-west and a path runs south into the western Wolds. From the eastern plain there is a path going east through Snowmelt Pass to Galafor and another south to the eastern Wolds near Helmgard Keep.
