Bell, Book and Candle is a quest available in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
To acquire this quest, talk to Faitir Scaith in the region of Tala-Rane, located along the eastern side below the pass into Kandrian.

- Follow Faitir Scaith into the keep.
- Defend Faitir as he summons the bell.
- Find the Codex by defeating a Champion Skeleton.
- Protect Faitir as he reads the book.
- Confront the First Scaith and learn the truth
- Choose a side to initiate a fight. Both opponents are casters.

- The First summons 4 skeletons to attack you.

- Kill Faitir with the help of The First.

- xp for killing the skeletons. No xp for killing The First.
- Loot from The First and skeletons.

- Vault key to Dolve Wayle
- Fae Gorta will now aid you in combat while in Tala-rane
Siding With The FirstEdit
- 608xp for killing Faitir. 608 gold on body.
- 3,216xp from handing in the quest
- 4,260 gold quest reward. 708gold on the body of The First
- Vault Key to Dolve Wayle
- Fae Gorta will no longer exist in Tala-rane
The VaultEdit
- Contains random gold and treasure. As well as a Relic, which is needed for the task Lyria's Lost.
NotesEdit
- Save once entering Dolve Wayle. There are 3 persuaion attempts inside the keep if you are going for the achievement.
BugsEdit
- PC: Siding with Faitir does not turn Faer Gorta into alies
- If Faitir stuck (doing nothing and saying "focus") press H attack him once (don't kill) and than just run around the room, he should start talking. After that run down the stairs to the closed gate, it should open, and than you start to talk to other guy (name: First Scaith). From the conversation choose "kill Faitir". Quest is over.
- PC (1.0.0.2): Siding with the First does not remove Faer Gorta from the map
- PS3: Siding with the First does not remove Faer Gorta from the map
- PS3: Siding with the First does not give you Vault Key to Dolve Wayle - this is fixed now.
- Xbox: Siding with the First does not remove Faer Gorta from the map
