Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Complete Out of the Darkness.
Talk to High King Titarion during The Coming Storm.
Complete Enemies in High Places
Defeat Balor during Breaking The Siege
Finish Reckoning by defeating Tirnoch.
Start and finish the game on Hard difficulty. Lowering the difficulty mid-game will block this achievement.
Finish The Hero and the Maid.
Finish Such Sweet Sorrow.
Finish Revelation. | |
Finish Thick as Thieves.
Finish The Mountain Prison.
Kill 5 enemies during one fateshift. This is easiest done when fighting large groups of enemies, e.g. packs of Wolves or Boggarts, or during House of Valor arena battles. Combat Training from The Legend of Dead Kel DLC is also a good place. These enemies must be brought down to the "unraveling" state (not outright obliterated!) and one must be fateshifted.
Plenty of Niskaru in the main story line or the Warsworn quest line.
This can be done at lower character levels by fighting red-named Trolls in Haxhi. Finding appropriate enemies will be more and more difficult at higher levels, and becomes entirely impossible at level 32 or higher (as the highest minimum level cap in the game is level 35, in Primordia).
Easily done even in Odarath while fighting the Red Legion, or later in Ayten (Plains of Erathell).
Also known as To the Victor Go the Spoils . Excludes DLC weapons.
To parry press block once the enemy starts attacking but before the attack connects. Some attacks cant be parried (such as all jottun attacks), groups of wolves are good to grind for this.
Requires points in Finesse. Respec, hunt enemies with traps, return to preferred abilities. Can also be achieved when doing Of My Own Invention in the Teeth of Naros DLC. Curiously, this need not apply only to enemies hit with traps; even allies hit with traps, such as Pepin Jamane being caught with a spike trap in the Legend of Dead Kel DLC, are counted as well.
Alternatively, this can easily be done in Gorhart. Go there and save your game (unless you want a high bounty), go in to stealth mode and enable the ability to attack others. Attack a guard and resist arrest, kill him/her. Go to the front of the inn near the door and begin laying traps (you can just stand in front of the door and place them on top of each other). Guards will continue spawning in the inn and come out, making for easy kills.
Requires last level of Weapon Mastery in chosen weapon. Press attack right after starting a Parry.
Attack chains are done by using the regular attack. Each press executes the next move in the chain, the length of which varies by weapon, and the last attack is more powerful. Getting damaged or dodging breaks a chain.
See "And Then There Was None"
Go to Gorhart and enter stealth mode, enable the ability to attack citizens and guards. Kill all the guards with active abilities and go to the front of the inn (but do not enter), guards will continue spawning from the inn, 2 at a time. It's best to check your kill total prior, so you know how many you still need. Make sure you have a supply of Mana Potions, it makes it much easier.
Easily done with a longbow. Or with a chakram's after dodge attack. Can also be automatically awarded using the Faeblade attack "Savage Wing", the Parry-Attack chain.
Refer to Potions for a list of potions using the Essence of Fate.
For a simple way, obtain 4 Essences of Fate and go to a Fateweaver, use their services and apply 10 points to Alchemy. Go to any Potion station and select 'Create'. Go to the 'Master' tab and you should be able to make a Potion of Fate.
Refer to Potions for a list of potions, and create any potion using specified ingredients without having the recipe in your crafting book.
Takes time to achieve, but easy. Does not require 10 Essences of Fate.
Simply use a Repair Kit to bring any piece of equipment back to full durability.
Any item will do. | |
Requires 7 points in Blacksmithing, otherwise easy.
Requires 8 points in Sagecraft, otherwise easy.
Requires 3 points in Sagecraft and a small supply of Shards.
Self-explanatory. | |
Requires exploring the world and/or doing Side Quests.
2 points in Detect Hidden are very useful for this.
This requires exactly 175 lorestones, meaning any lorestones discovered in the DLCs can be used to make up for undiscovered lorestones from the core game.
Books can be found on shelves or in chests, or as part of quests. Orwae Nes in The Luminary Leaf in Rathir and Arthesa Lille in the Arcadium in Adessa each sell 16 books allowing for a much easier completion of this achievement. Once read these books can be destroyed or sold.
Should be easy to achieve in the first or second area. Mercantile helps, but is not required.
Requires visiting a Travelers camp. The first one is the Star Camp, accessible through either Lorca-Rane or Haxhi.
Go to Gorhart and enter 'The Corner Shop', go to Rikka Egest on your left upon entering and sell her 20 items. Then, hide behind the counter, out of sight of the armorer and her body guard. Eventually, Rikka's awareness bar will drop and you can steal the items you sold her (making some easy money and getting your gear back).
Commit a crime, opt to go to Jail. Once in Jail, successfully picking the cell door lock will get you the achievement.
Easy to do. Just start pick pocketing people around Amalur and when the guards stop you, pay the fine.
Can be achieved with the above.
Requires 6 points in any two ability trees.
Requires either 109 points in one ability tree, 55 (110) in two trees or 37 (111) points in all three trees.
Requires two points in every ability tree.
Self-explanatory. | |
Go to Adessa and find the Laboratories (will be near the 'town center'). Go inside and the first gnome you see will ask you to dispel wards for him. If you have a high dispelling skill, you can easily auto dispel many wards. There are at least 6 very easy and 6 easy wards, they get harder and harder as you succeed.
Make 50 successful Persuasion Attempts.
Self-explanatory. | |
Must speak with someone while not having ANYTHING equipped under the armor tab (including shields). Can be done as soon as you start the game. |
The Legend of Dead Kel
Collect all Messages in a Bottle
Complete Gravehal Tower, the final upgrade to Gravehal Keep.
Finish Scattered Fragments and find Aubrey Gilcrest's hand. The hand is found on a specific Scuttlecrab located in the stream due north of Mudhold Fasting just below a jump point. However, the Fateless One must complete the quest Scattered Fragments before they will appear on this crab. The last piece of the Dvergan armor set, Dvergan Gauntlets, can also be found on this crab.
Flatter Rast in every dialogue, from the very first meeting. Selecting her as a companion in An Offering is not necessary. Achievement awarded after finishing The Exiles.
Self-explanatory. |
Teeth of Naros
Use Primal Weapons and/or enter Reckoning mode.
Complete Ascension. | |
Enter Idylla Under Sewers and go through hidden door. See also: The Strange Man
